I filed for SSDI after losing job due to recovery issues, and being unable to function well enough to do any job.

I was refused, which is normal for SSDI. I hired a SSDI lawyer and after almost 2 years, I won my case. You must be able to tell the judge not just your symptoms, but how it has affected your quality of life, the ability to perform your prior job or any other job. And be very honest with them.

I just filled in 17 pages of those questions being asked. Example: can you bathe by yourself and my answer was: I need a medical chair, shower with hose and help at times. Another example was food: I can only make what I can cook in 5 minutes. Like a sandwich. I have a friend cook 1 hot meal a day. I hope things like this help.

Good advice!!!
