I lived in Bonita Springs for ten years and remember the stress of hurricane season and being glued to the weather reports. I evacuated for Irma and was without power, TV, Internet, air conditioning for more than a week. Fortunately I had someone to stay with who had not lost power. In Naples at the time of Irma, they did not have enough generators for all the sewage lifts, so everyone was told to not flush toilets as they were backed up. My friends used zip lock bags for their bathroom needs.
