My spine at one time was 2.5. And hip 2.8…my recent echo lite was -1.2 for spine and -2.0 for hip. I was really surprised that my spine has gotten so much better. I’m sure the bioidentical hormones had something to do with it. I also increased exercise and vitamins. It is so hard! My endocrinologist is against torment therapy. She just wants to give medicine and I am not taking it. I told her I’m taking a chance with this. Hoping this helps.

@nme1985…How long have you been on BHRT? And how long since menopause? I’m 72 and had a complete hysterectomy at 38. I began BHRT when I finished my 2-year protocol with Tymlos in June of this year and am praying that my bone gains from Tymlos have held stable. I’m only beginning my 4th month of BHRT and my new integrative doc believes I can wait to see how BHRT is affecting my bones before beginning Evenity. However, my rheumatologist is adamant about this drug holiday I’m on and wants me to start Evenity immediately. Though my numbers are pretty bad, I’ve never fractured which is a blessing. I really would rather not go on another drug for osteo, but if my numbers are falling on BHRT, I may have to. My last DEXA which was a month after completing Tymlos, still showed gains. So many decisions for all of us. Rose 🌹
