Thanks for this. It is helpful. I wonder about taking it if I got COVID due to bad GI issues and kidney issues also. Meanwhile I get all the vaccinations for COVID and pretty much avoid any possible contamination of it.

GI and kidney issues would make it a harder decision. I’m lucky to now have a pulmonologist who both listens to my concerns and gives issues careful thought. He’d told me before I took a trip to take tests and to seek Paxlovid if I test positive. Even their on call doc told me she’d call back after reviewing my meds and she stopped atorvastatin and Advair while on Paxlovid.
My PMD is nice, but I doubt she would have taken that time. Do you a pulmonologist or PMD who can help you decide ahead of time?
