Aerobika green valve blows out; common?

I think it was for me and I’d take it again for a few reasons.
First, I thought I was just feeling bad from jet lag and didn’t test until I had a fever. It started spiking and I quickly started feeling awful. Once I had a couple doses of Paxlovid in me, the fever was easier to control and I gradually started feeling better. It seemed to help.

I’ve also read a lot about Covid and Paxlovid and rebound in past few days. Paxlovid studies show it’s been very effective in decreasing hospital admissions and death. The average date of admission toICU for severe Covid is 8-12 days. My rebound was day 9 or 10. I have 3 risk factors for severe disease and despite rebound being discouraging and making me tired, it’s sure easier than fighting for air in ICU.

Lastly, I’m retired from health care and the stories from staff, overwhelmed with patients and with woefully inadequate resources during the early pandemic, have stayed with me. We lost a cousin and a friend of my brother died. I couldn’t help then, but I can take the immunizations and meds my competent pulmonologist recommends. I understand others may chose differently (and I could change my mind).

My son-in-law, with one risk factor for severe disease, declined Paxlovid his second time because of GI issues his first time on it. He did OK.

Thanks for this. It is helpful. I wonder about taking it if I got COVID due to bad GI issues and kidney issues also. Meanwhile I get all the vaccinations for COVID and pretty much avoid any possible contamination of it.
