I see that I left out an important word in the 1st sentence. Should read I would NOT want a stranger staying in my home. Years ago might have been OK to bring a stranger into the home, but too many bad people out there nowadays.

That's why I recommended a "Professional Support Group " or " Church Group " to vet a strangers background and references .
Not just let any con artist into your home .
