Let me know how you make out. My friend who was on fosomax five years and is now on her break, went and had the echo lite done yesterday and her numbers were horrible. She went from -1.6to a -4.2. She is beyond upset.

How long was this after her DEXA scan? Maybe her numbers would be different if she also got a DEXA scan. I have been told there can be discrepancies even from one DEXA machine to another, so I can imagine changing from two different measuring systems could cause a variance? If it has been awhile since her last DEXA I would advise her to get that repeated and see what the change is from her last DEXA . That might give a totally different number than what she received from the Echolight. Just a thought.
