Took a Fall

@pmrsuzie

My tapering has been going smoothly right now except for fatigue, at 3 mg.
I did have a nasty fall in July on concrete. Went to the er , nothing broken. The bridge of my nose, thumb, elbow and knee were all bleeding and I badly sprained a finger. Everything healed ok except for my knee which apparently now has aggravated cppd.
And I am
worried about falling again so I am being extra careful.
I just took it really easy for a few days, used ice packs and took tylenol.
We were not at home when I fell but luckily had ice packs in the car which minimized bruising.
Don't concentrate too much on what might go wrong and take one day at a time. I drink chamomile tea to relax.
Sorry that you fell, hope things feel better soon.
The reason we had ice packs is we have a cooler in the back of the car when we go out for cold stuff from grocery shopping.

Hahaha. I was wondering about those ice paks, thinking what a great idea! And it really is these days!

I'm sorry you took that nasty spill and hope your knee heals nicely. Sorry about the rest of the areas you injured as well. Sounds very painful.

I really do thank you for reminding me that lingering on this will.not.help and just causes more worry and even pain due to focusing. My new thing is after something *happens*, I tell myself out loud, "OK, stop ruminating. No do-over here." And also appreciate your kindness.

Take good care. Thank you for responding, and yes, being extra careful and trying to stay in the moment make a difference.
