@gravity3 can you be specific on which videos you appreciated? I just watched one with Dr. Marc Wein at MGH on Osteoboston and he is big on bisphosphonates first. Says with a straight face that cost is low and insurers like it. He does say that anti-resorptives may affect the effectiveness of anabolics.

Then I tried a different one on the site where a woman who resisted meds and finally went on, was put on Actonel. I stopped there.

I know I felt better starting with anabolics and wanted to avoid the impact of anti-resorptives on anabolics .

I know McCormick has been on Osteoboston. I like the video on YouTube by Dr. Ben Leder, also at MGH, entitled "Combining and Sequential Approaches to Osteoprosis."
