My husband has been Stage 4 for many years. He started on Zytiga and prednisone in January of 2020 and it kept his cancer in remission for three years. Perhaps it or Xtandi are treatments to try before chemotherapy.

Xtandi is Enzalutamide, essentially the same as Apalutamide as far as the problem is concerned. Almost definitely would not help.

Zytiga might, since it works differently.
