5 weeks out is pretty rough. I remember having the same thoughts. You will get better. I am 18 months out and have good reports from my checkups. I have a friend who is 20plus years out. Hang in there you will get better.

I ganay weened myself off of hi cal Boost about 5 months post radiation.
Today I have no pain and can eat pretty much what I want . My throat is a little constricted. I crave fresh veggies and that is a good thing.
