Hi ripley, I’m sorry to hear that Evenity may be in your future too. I have already had 8 shots. I think my body has gotten used to the shots. I don’t feel tired the way I did that first time. My joints do ache a bit more. For example, although I had a lot of back and knee pain before Evenity, now my right hip aches a lot too and my knees hurt more. My spine hurts less, though, so that’s good! I’m still very afraid to be on such a heavy drug but grateful at the same time considering how extreme my case of osteoporosis is. I have also started medication for sub clinical hyperthyroidism because that may have been what wrecked my bones at such a young age so now I’m on two meds and very unhappy about it but I don’t feel that I have a choice. All in all, I am grateful to have the chance to build back bone with the Evenity and I don’t feel that the side effects have been too bad.
