Has anyone with long covid had surgery?

I have had long Covid since 2020. Last year I had 3 surgeries within 5 months - 2 with sedation and one with general anesthesia. It definitely affected my cognition. I had increased brain fog, trouble with word finding and difficulty putting sentences together, in general more confusion. My long Covid nurse practitioner assured me that this was a normal reaction after having sedation and anesthesia. It took about 3 months after the last surgery to improve back to where I was cognitively before the surgeries.

This is the first time that I saw a connection between long covid and patients having a procedure done. I will say that this is the only online research where I saw a connection between long covid and the ramifications of
surgery.
