I will watch the video again.
I was somewhat distracted during the first viewing.

I have been studying and researching my options since I woke up today. I do this to some degree everyday.
I have become obsessed with making my decision for upcoming treatment by the time of my next Oncologist conversation on 10/9.

I'm going to do something even if it involves something risky or questionable. It's in my DNA to take chances.
I was stage 4 colon cancer with metastasized lung cancer and had resections to both, and refused chemo and radiation.
So far all is good after 29 months of blood tests and CT Scans only, as followup every 3 and 4 months. My quality of life has been like nothing ever changed or happened! .....until we found prostate cancer that is unrelated to anything else.
I drove race cars for nearly 40 years,
( thus my avatar photo ), so I have a natural tendency to go where others would never consider.
My good, or bad decision will be of help to others as I will post my results here in coming weeks and months.
Thanks
PAUL

I had the same treatment as you, one year of ADT, 26 IMRT sessions, and one HDR Brachytherapy session. The HDR session went smoothly and is not painful. It is a safe way to give your prostate high dose radiation while affecting the least amount of healthy tissue possible. I was only a 3+4 but with a high Decipher score of 0.81. You are a Gleason 9 which means you need this high level of treatment regardless of what Decipher score you might have.
