I am sorry to hear of your suffering. Have you had an ultrasound of your pelvis/abdomen, endoscopy for your stomach, colonoscopy, ct scan, or bloodwork done yet? Have you seen a gastroenterologist?

Do you know why the medication was prescribed and what you were diagnosed for to treat with the medication? Did your doctor tell you what to expect from the medications (pros/cons/risks/issues)?

Were you in any accident? Have you been to a pain management specialist, rheumatologist, immunologist or neurologist?

P.S. Do you still have your gallbladder? Have you ever had a HYDA scan to test gallbladder function? I had pain like yours and the HYDA scan showed my gallbladder is not functioning. I need to schedule surgery to have it removed.

Your gallbladder can look okay on ct scan/MRI/ultrasound but the HYDA scan actually tests function. My gallbladder appeared okay on all imaging but the HYDA scan showed my gallbladder was only ejecting 7% stored bile when it should be a minimum of 35%-40%. Did you take Omeprazole for your gastritis and stop all NSAID pain relievers (like Motrin/Advil)? Did your gastroenterologist say what caused your gastritis? You may want to make diet changes, too, to not aggravate your gastritis (reduce coffee, red wine, spicy foods, etc.).

I was on celebrex for 8 weeks after my hip replacement in may. Then i was on steriods for a week because i got hurt in P.t. Been on bland diet since end of august. Now one dr thinking it might be heart related, something to do with mild calcification? Then he was thinking ibs but nothing he can do about that. Primary dr. Did find on monday that i have a vaiginal wall prolaspe mild, bladder sitting on rectum. In between all this had two utis.

Celebrex and steroids can certainly cause gastritis. Did you have an H Pylori test done? I agree that a Hida scan for gallbladder function helps identify gallbladder problems even when CT and ultrasound are normal. It would be helpful if you could list all your symptoms and what tests/results you’ve had. Have you had pancreatic enzymes checked in blood ( lipase, amylase)? Fatty food intolerance? Vomiting? I think the upper abdominal problems are separate from the pelvic, bladder issues. If you can tell us more we can help you better.
