Your gallbladder can look okay on ct scan/MRI/ultrasound but the HYDA scan actually tests function. My gallbladder appeared okay on all imaging but the HYDA scan showed my gallbladder was only ejecting 7% stored bile when it should be a minimum of 35%-40%. Did you take Omeprazole for your gastritis and stop all NSAID pain relievers (like Motrin/Advil)? Did your gastroenterologist say what caused your gastritis? You may want to make diet changes, too, to not aggravate your gastritis (reduce coffee, red wine, spicy foods, etc.).
