Has anyone else been discovered with Malrotation of the Intestines?
They catch this earlier now, mostly in newborns, but I was 57 years old when I was diagnosed. I'm just wondering if anyone else here was diagnosed well into adulthood (major surgery). How are you doing now? Any hospital stays for a blocked bowel? I finally learned, after my third trip to the hospital for a blocked bowel (no surgery) that I can only eat ground meat and to chew my food thoroughly. Otherwise, I am asking for trouble!

No, the doctors did not give me any suggestions as to how to avoid having another blockage, I learned this by trial and error. I no longer eat any meat in the form of steaks, chops, etc, as experience has taught me that it stands a good chance of giving me a blockage. I also drink a LOT of water throughout the day. Thanks for your response!
