@06111945cc would you also consider switching to Tymlos, which works in a similar way as Forteo? I could not tolerate Forteo. I did tolerate Tymlos for two years mainly because the injection pen is adjustable. Some of us try a lower dose (1/4 or 1/2) and either stay with 1/2 or move up to 3/4 or evcn full dose. I did Evenity after Tymlos for 4 months, but I liked Tymlos the most of all the meds I have tried. None of them seem to be without side effects for me but Tymlos was, for me, the gentlest and very effective.

My endo discouraged me from trying Tymlos.

Her patients, she said, had more side effects with it than Forteo.

@windyshores, I totally agree with you about your experience with Tymlos. During my two years, I had no injection issues, no side effects, and, thankfully, positive scan score results. I echo your "gentlest" description.
