@bmtrumps

About three years ago I had the fundaoplication surgery due to extreme acid reflux and Barrett’s esophagus. Doctor cut a hole in my esophagus and I was on a heart line (for food) for two months. after that, they slowly started me on liquids after a month or so I started unsolved foods. They also repaired a hernia. It was fine for a while last year. They did a endoscopy and other test that showed I had gastroparesis, which I’m sure is from the surgery six months ago . The doctor put Botox in , Hoping to help release the food into the intestines. The last six months have been not good. I can tell the food stays in my stomach for days. My stomach is very extended and, the heartburn is bad. I need to discipline myself to eat soft foods or soup. Next week I go in for another endoscopy and another injection of Botox, If anyone is contemplating, this surgery, DO NOT DO IT! I wish. I had gone on a diet myself to correct the reflux.

@bmtrumps I’ve never heard of this , but have excess heartburn, I couldn’t stay off my medicine to do a heartburn test . The heartburn was getting so bad after day 3 I had to start meds again. I started and continue getting pains between the shoulder blades. Now the heartburn is worse than it was before the test. I’m waiting on my other doctors clearances before I can have a scope done. I also have a hiatal hernia and bloating. I’m on Omeprazole in the morning and Pantoprazole in the evening
