Shock waves, (Ultrasound) are widely used for the treatment of epicondylitis and plantar fasciitis and to foster bone and wound healing. But it hasn't worked for me and my neuropathy in my feet. So far, I have done 4 treatments at $350 a treatment. Do the math. If I got the slightest optimistic sign I would continue. This machine, I was told, was invented by the Israeli military. The treatment is ultrasound and a second part that supposed to correct the body from rejecting the initial treatment phase after it ends. This is the best way I could explain it. Good luck whatever you try. Wishing you a pain free life.
Have PN in feet and lower legs and get spastic toe cramps. So night, legs tingle like crazy so I run my legs on the sheets. Also run my legs down with special cream . Do I goggle ultra s sound therapy to find a locate in San Diego?? I’m diagnosed with Sjögren’s and a Mac infection for the last 5 years. I’m 72 now. Thanks so much!! 🙂

I stopped the ultrasound. Didn't work for me. I am not familiar with Sjögren’s and a Mac infection so I can't speak with any knowledge about it. I think you should try pain medicine doctors in your area and they'll either do the ultrasound or lead you to them. Good luck. Hope you find something.

I have had great results with Shockwave treatment. I have allergic events which trigger my neuropathy to another level, and the Shockwave has created immediate relief from the event. My neuropathy has also decreased in the long run. This relief also worked with the cold laser, that just took longer.
I have been trying to find a Dr. that does Shockwave Therapy in Atlanta-the only place I called sounded like a backroom operation. What type of clinic did you find that did that particular therapy.
Also, another place here advertises Softwave Therapy-anyone familiar with that??

The only “official” one I ever located on. The east coast was New Jersey I think. Calmare therapy I believe is the branded version of this treatment. I can’t physically travel or afford the treatment but I posted about on here I think looking for anecdotes. There were a few people that said it helped a little but it was only temporary
