Thanks for this. I always wondered what it looked like from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

I was in Paris when I was 16. 1969. Although not on any rooftops. Yet in june 2017 took rooftop tour of the cathedral in Santiago after completing the camino. It was the artistic culmination of the adventure. Our guide was In a leather skirt and heels! What a kick. No pun intended. My art provides me some relief from depression yet there has to be more.

Very nice! Art can be a wonderful stress reliever! Our local library used to let you check out prints of original well known artists such as Monet. They were literally framed pictures and you could hang them up in your home! It was so relaxing to sit on the couch and stare at a print by Monet or Van Gogh and ponder what it was like when they painted that picture. My family just loved those pictures and we couldn't afford to buy even prints of them.
You had to return the picture in a month and check out a new one or you could renew the one you had. However, that was a different time. The library finally quit offering the pictures because they were being stolen!

Sam, Have you ever thought about creating a bit of art of your own? The tools need not be extensive or expensive - just some colored pencils and a sketch pad, readily available on-line. Or maybe a crochet hook and some yarn. LOTS of how-to videos on YouTube to get you started.

My Mom learned to watercolor after one of her strokes as part of her OT, and took to it as, well, as a duck does to water. It provided her many hours of pleasure.
I have always had one or more art projects underway - ranging from huge pieces of fiber work to tiny paintings, depending on my energy.

sure. I've done photography, some painting, some sculpture, some collage. Back in the 90s, I even sold a few paintings.
