Hello, @autonomic ~
You have described one of the many problems that neuropathy patients experience. I have had P.N. for over 20 years and was able to find the perfect "blanket" for me. It is actually not a blanket but a down comforter, available through The Country Store. I live in Iowa, so we get temperatures ranging from the 90s to minus 20 degrees. I use this comforter year-round (and actually have 2 identical ones for when one is being cleaned. It is the White Bay Comforter, style/item #C2X2 which they describe as "super light warmth". It is perfect no matter what season you're in. I used to be able to machine-wash mine in the days when I had the Maytag Neptune washer & dryer as those were large enough to accommodate my queen-size comforter. These days, however, I take it to the dry-cleaner because I no longer have machines with large enough drums. I can't recommend this more highly - it is perfect in every way. Well, not expense-wise, but then you definitely do get what you pay for! 😊 Sweet dreams!
