I'd like to invite @sue225, @mkatcht, @lippemouse and @sonomagal22 who all mentioned high cholesterol (either previous to taking osteoporosis meds or during/after). While not everyone is taking the same osteoporosis medication, some of the challenges of dealing with high cholesterol symptoms while managing osteoporosis may be similar.

@juanitalinda, Did your provider offer any other potential solutions for lowering your cholesterol without medication?

On injectable Repatha to lower cholesterol. Prolia made my high CHO go higher. It is listed as a side effect. The drug also seemed to change the ratio of hdl:ldl. I should really be on repatha plus a statin but the last time I tried a low dose statin it caused g.i. pain
Seeing a different endocrinologist in November(in🇨🇦, you wait months to see a specialist btw, so dont believe anything positive you hear from some of your politicians about our healthcare system). On another note, Repatha for CHO, seems to have raised my blood sugar levels. You can't win. The best thing to do...stay forever young.

Thanks for inviting the other folks. I had not tried bergamot, so it might be worth a try.

In the meantime, over the years we have tried a variety of supplements, diet and exercise with minimal changes. I won the genetic lottery, high cholesterol and low bone density.
