Please, Please Be Careful with the Acetaminophen high dosage. A friend of mine's Dad passed from Tylenol Poisonings, Liver Failure. Hospitals also state Acetaminophen Poisonings is one of their most frequent, large amounts of patients. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about Tramadol 50mg pain medication? It is a synthetic, non addictive pain med that tricks the THC Center of the brain to believe and allow it to function as an Opioid; normally without any sleepiness, or "High" feelings. I have had CML Leukemia since 2004, oral Chemo 5 days per week, 3 failed Spinal/Lumbar Surgeries/Fractured C7 vertebrae and now PMR. Back pain resulted in onset of no clue sweating, puking, clammy pain attacks. The Tramadol once or twice a day for me is great, sometimes at worse moments combined with Acetaminophen once a day. My wife occasionally takes 25mg of Tramadol for her Sciatica or knee/meniscus topics with no complications. Just a thought. I hate to see any good person in pain.

Current guidelines for acetaminophen (Tylenol) are to take no more than 3,000mg daily. I take 2,000. No liver problems so doctor says this is ok for me. Tramadol is a good effective drug. My husband was on it for back pain after complicated back surgery for a few years. But you are dependent on a doctor who has to order it , and it is a schedule 4 controlled substance so it can be difficult to get some doctors to order it.
