How long did your doc have you on Tymlos?

@omgirl, My endocrinologist just suggested Evista to take along with my Tymlos. My CTX is too high at 1400. He thinks Tymlos is working because my P1NP is 310. Did you have any side effects with Evista?

How high was your P1NP before you started Tymlos? 310 seems a bit high, but if it’s coming down from a higher number, that’s good. Hopefully, you can get that CTX number lower as well.

I was never put on Evista. When I finished my 2-year Tymlos protocol I mentioned hormones to my cardiologist and he agreed, with my very low almost non-existent hormone counts, that bioidentical hormones could help retain my bone gains. My CTX is at 420 and P1NP is at 74 at 3 months off Tymlos. My rheumatologist wants me on Evenity when I get back from vacation in October. I’m not thrilled about going on another drug but I also don’t want to lose the gains I had with Tymlos. Tymlos was easy and minimal side effects. I’d love to just wait and see how the hormones are affecting my bones but I’ll make a decision soon.
