About 6 years ago I fell several times. I would walk up to a curb to step down and suddenly fid myself on the cement. It wasn't just curbs. I came around the corner in my house and fell against the front door. There were other instance as well. I was taking Cymbalta for fibromyalgia and checked its side effects and falling was one. I weaned off of it and haven't fallen since. It was VERY difficult to get off of. I don't know what you are taking but many medicines cause falls. I would review my meds with my doctor or pharmacist.

I have taken Cymbalta for many years for muscle aches and chronic depression. I have also fallen for no apparent reason, once I fell as I was having a pleasant conversation with a friend in the doorway of our home. I Wilkie to wean off of Cymbalta but I struggling with that process. Can you tell me how you weaned yourself from it, how long it took, and any advice that might be helpful for me. Thank you!

I take lacosimide for seizures and unsteadiness, dizziness, poor balance are all side effects as with most anti-seizure meds. I have very poor balance and tip over all the time (like the little guy on his tricycle on LaughIn !)
So far nothing but a bruise or two but have to be very careful-
