In response to your Vertigo. I just completed 8 miserable months of vertigo, dizzy episodes (sometimes 3-4 times a day), unsteady gait. Went to Neuro - wanted to start with an anti-depressant....(depressed because of dizziness, NOT dizzy 'cause I'm depressed. Went to well trained ENT, he started with Diagnosis of Meniere's (sp?), when that is a diagnosis of exclusion. Wanted to inject steroids in my ear. I declined. Drilled down on the issue myself. It started in November2023 so looked at what changed at that time. Long story short, I was placed on Eliquis instead of the warfarin I had been on for years. Did some research which actually addressed the relationship between the two drugs. Asked to be taken off Eliquis and placed back on warfarin on 8/8/2023. Haven't been dizzy since. Moral of story-- don't discount the physician/pharmacist (and your research) looking at your medication regime! Wasted 8 months of my life!
