So here it is - September 26th. This is my last day as an 89 year old person. Tomorrow, September 27th, will be the big 90 for me. I have stopped stressing. What does it accomplish? When (or if) you wake up every morning and can get out of bed on your own, you do just that and do whatever you had planned to do for the day. In my case, I am planning on quiet day to transition.

Happy birthday to you, it is a blessing, as you said to be able to get up out of that bed and do something. Many don't want to even get out of bed. I have learn to enjoy simple things, birds. Flowers, music, TV movies ,I like to laugh when I can as much as I can. Be happy. It does get lonely, I learned in life you must be your own best friend first.

Happy Birthday!!!

Happiest of birthdays to you, today!

Thinking of you on your 90th and wishing you a Happy Day!

Warmly, Trisha

Congratulations! I like the part about not stressing out. Good for you. Hope everyday brings some happiness.

Happy Birthday!!!🎂🎈🎉 I hope your day was just what you wanted. It sounds lovely.

I see people of all ages at my gym everyday. We are different in some ways, but are all there in hopes of improving our health. I look around and it occurs to me that we are all the same people as we were when we were 40, 30, …..parts of me as a little kid still remain. I have aged, but I’m still young. I try to see people that way. Wiser yes, more beautiful yes, and so very precious to be here thriving.

Wishing you many more and a great year ahead.
