Yeah that’s not entirely true. It depends on the cause. And yes Ive been to a top neurotologist as well. I’m also an SLP with an audiology background.
It depends on where you go and your individual situation. I was just making a suggestion.

@gerberdaisy for pulsatile tinnitus, surgery can help (my daughter had metal coils put in her brain for a fistula) but I have been all over the place for help with tinnitus. Neuro. Otoneuro, ENT.

There are retraining programs that help some but those seem to be through audiology. CBT and psychiatry are suggested. Some try hearing aids, white noise. I can't do any of those but others can benefit.

With your background, I hope you will share what you think is possible in terms of help. I never intend to argue with anyone on here: I just wanted to save someone else from the hope I had when I went to all those professionals and how disappointing it was.

I’d also like to talk about the vertigo with you- have you found anything that helps? I had it before as well but just like with everything, much worse since I got Covid
