11 Yrs Post Rectal Cancer Treatment: Still have chronic diarrhea: Help

I have to take close to 8 immodiums a day and that isn't enough some days. My rectum was completely removed (and I do not have a bag) creating a slip and slide effect. I use toilet paper in my crack to buy me enough time to get to the toilet. Frustrated. Help.

But having it for 11 years is a long time. I can imagine that this is extremely frustrating and limiting to your daily activities, especially outside the house. Have you discussed ostomy options with your team or is that a non-negotiable for you? What other options have they suggested?
