I can't believe your comment and I really understand how difficult it is since I'm experiencing similar issues.
On August 30, 2023 Hurricane Idalia, Englewood, FL experienced significant damage from Hurricane Idalia, with widespread flooding and storm surge causing major issues, particularly impacting areas that were still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Ian in 2022. My husband was up in New England so I needed to clean up the damage caused by the hurricane, roof shingles, tree branches and other clutter. Trying to hire someone to clean up the mess was impossible so I tried taking care of the debris myself. While I was putting out the bins of debris, I tripped and smashed my face into the metal rails of trash/recycle bins smashing (and knocking out) my front teeth and upper and lower bridges.
I have lost my memories and professional abilities. Short term memories just disappear completely along with the names of friends. I can't remember whole conversations, chores I have completed, and completely forget movie and book I have watched/read. I don't remember going places. The events just disappear!!!
It scares the daylight out of me!!!
