Yes, I can look up doctors through my insurance, but I wouldn't be able to know if they would do the testing until I see them, so I'm first trying to find out if someone knows of a doctor who uses these tests. I like my current doctor, but he doesn't think that testing for CTX and P1NP is necessary. After reading posts on this site and Keith McCormick's book, I think these tests can be useful in knowing whether the treatment is having an effect, before my next Dexa which can be done only after two years. It seems like a waste of time and money to continue with treatment for two years if it's not working, so I'm hoping to find out if there's a doctor who would order the tests.
