I have been taking 5mg of prednisone for years because of PMR. I can never skip a dose of prednisone without withdrawal pain. It isn’t designed to fluctuate your dose so be consistent with it especially if you want to be comfortable in Gatlinburg.

Thanks for that input. I am constantly experimenting with splitting doses between A.M. & P.M., different time of day for body clock function etc. I am on 12.5mg currently from 15mg last week & before.
