Can one stop taking prolia after the first shot?

How are you doing today? Did you ever have any rebound fractures later? I had one shot and I’m done. Need to decide if I need a relay or just get off cold turkey.

Play it safe and take a bisphosphonate for six months. Fractures just aren't worth the risk.

Hi lessee, thank you for reaching out. I am doing well, although I have had some bilateral sacral fractures, which showed on MRI on 7/30/24. I really don't think it had anything to do with rebound from prolia...it would have happened a lot sooner. I haven't tried anything else. It seems I'm becoming allergic to just about everything in my old age. I'm due for dexa at end of November, so I'll know then, but don't have great expectations. I hope you find a better solution for yourself...be well!
