Hey James, in 2020 diagnosed (PSA 5) .. MRI showed two PIRADS three lesions, fusion biopsy showed several cores of Gleason 6 in each of those lesions- Started AS. Next MRI and biopsy showed the same. Third MRI in 2024 showed only one lesion! I'm thinking things are at least status quo, but biopsy showed Gleason 6 in the lesion, and 4 of the non targeted cores surprisingly showed 3-3+4=7, and 1-4=4=8 cores. None of the three MRI's or PSMA PET scan noted any of the higher grade lesions, psa remained stable throughout. Catheter is a nuisance but tolerable. Low genomic score is only good news. RP on 9/16 went smoothly with little pain or complications, until last night ended up in ER overnight due to severe bladder spasms with spurting bloody urine out around cath entry point. Meds are helping. Scheduled for cath removal on 9/24. Still waiting pathology report.
How are you doing brother?

I think overall yoru doing well! You just had RP on 9/16/'24 , so it takes some time . Pathology will be interesting . get a hard copy of that for sure !! You need that copy to talk to the doctors too ! So mainly 3+4= 7 was found in cores ?
Yes the catheter is not fun - but gone soon! What was yoru PSA going into operation again ?
Im doing fine Post RP and a year after at 0.14 PSA I had 22 sessions of External beam radiation ( EBRT) . No ADT . That was 2 years ago . Now im at 0.040 ! The radiation acts slow , but the results are good I think. I speak to RO and urologist in 2 weeks . God Bless Tom . Keep me in the loop of you developments . James on Vancouver Island .
