Nerve blocks
Has anyone had success with a nerve block in spine/neck for PN? I saw a few older comments on discussion board. I am afraid of making my PN worse. I have burning sensation in my neck that ranges from annoying to painful. PN in hands, arms, feet, legs, spine, and neck. All of that happened in about 10 weeks. An anesthesiologist will administer the injection guided by x-ray.

Do you know the cause of yours?
What is being injected? I found out the hard way that I seem to be sensitive to lidocaine.
No known cause yet. I had EMG's , MRI, Blood tests for vitamin B6 and B12. My B6 and B12 were both high due to supplements. I stopped both of them as told by the neurologist who I had on a telemedicine visit. I am still looking for a neurologist (not satisfied with the one I saw who is 3 hours away and spent 30 minutes with me). AC1 was also normal. No lead or arsenic detected. ANA was abnormal, but was repeated by rheumatologist who found nothing in bloodwork to indicate autoimmune. X-Rays show degenerative arthritis in neck and lumbar, but I was told by PA for neurosurgeon that I did not need surgery. I am worried about the nerve block.
That's a good question. I have a consultation next week, and I will be sure to ask that.

xxx NERVE BLOCK xxx
A “nerve block” was found in my left-side bottom of my back to the very top of my rear-end. The pain from my both rear-ends to the bottom my back-legs. I couldn’t walk, cause that pain hit me so much that I ever hurt before.
xxx MY ACCIDENT - FALLING DOWN xxx
That was 2+ years. During that I feel down on my garage and hit my rear-ends that hit end the wooden steps. After that l loss of cutting our grass, cutting tree parts, taking care of our waters thru the outside body and on…
xxx MY CHOICES xxx
Earlier a few mths ago, I had choices:
1. Do nothing & that pain will last.
2. Get better pain-meds & see what it does
3. The BEST, for me, was a surgery.
xxx SURGERY xxx
That surgery got rid of any pain from my rear-ends to the bottom of my feet. Sure, my “accident falling down” still has that problem: little or zero of feeling no my right foot. My right-side ankle is zero feeling. I hope, soon, going to my family-doctor and see what’s going on. Recently, my family-doctor called to my neusonsurgeon (sp?) doctor (Dr. A). Then Dr. A, showed the photos of my low-back. And the “nerve block” was hitting my nerve inside my brain. That pain is gone was gone!
