Oh, yes. Lots of imaging.. and many doctors. All are puzzled. Started antiseizure meds yesterday after a visit to the neurologist. Possible TN. I also was told I am having muscle spasms in my ear. Not fun!

So no connection to cancer, I hope. Tegretol is sometimes used but I cannot tolerate it. I am trying Baclofen. Hope your new med works!

Xgeva is the same med as Prolia. Was your calcium level checked? Here is an excerpt of side effect list online:

Denosumab may cause low calcium levels, especially if you have kidney problems. Take calcium and vitamin D as directed by your doctor. Your doctor will order calcium blood tests before your first injection and during treatment. Tell your doctor right away if you have any symptoms of low calcium such as

Muscle spasms/cramps
Mental/mood changes
Numbness/tingling
Fast/irregular heartbeat
Severe dizziness/fainting
Seizures
