Neuropathy: What works and what are scams?
I am new to this forum although I have been suffering with peripheral neuropathy for 2 years (none diabetic). Like most sufferers I have searched endlessly to find supplements that provide some relief and a possible cure. My search has proved how impossible this quest is and so expensive due to misleading adverts and down right scams.
What would be really helpful if members posted their experiences with supplements they’ve tried , which were useless/helpful or obvious scams. I am sure there must be some helpful supplements out there and we would all benefit if these were posted on this forum.

I have all kinds of supplements and lotions. Haven’t found anything that helps. Only thing that really helps is tramadol along with Gabapentin.
I was taking hydrocodeine but I have been taking it most of my life for chronic back pain.
The pain management doctor is concentrating on my low pain. Could be causing my neuropathy.
I don't have pain just numbness in feet, fingers, hand will cramp up and lock if straining.
Imbalance has been a problem.
Was hoping to find some answers here.
It’s hard to tell but I think that R-ALA seemed to have some impact but unfortunately it gave me stomach upset.
Note, many brands of lipoic acid out there thar are good incase Amazon gets pricy.
More related to your muscles maybe. See a Neurologist, they can determine if it's nerve or muscle issues.
I have found that the Sanexas treatment did wonders for me. Here is a very useful link.

You must exercise. I know that doesn't sound like a great idea and most hate it, but stretching your hamstrings and when you're in bed, raise your leg (I do both) and point your foot back and forth 5x each foot. Keeping your legs flexible will improve your posture and lessen the pain since the feet, legs and hips need to move to give you range of motion. If you sit too long, I know in my case, the neuropathy is much worse. So I put my hands against the wall, and move one leg back, with heel down with the other leg bent and you'll feel the stretch. If you can muster it, do 30 seconds on each leg 3x. It's not going to cure the neuropathy, but it will make you more flexible and walking easier. I wouldn't recommend doing this all at once, but try 1 set and when it feels okay try again another day for 2 sets and on to 3. And the foot moves in bed are easy and also a stretch of your legs can happen at that time as well with much strain on the hamstrings. So, give it a shot but make sure you don't do too much or you will pull a hamstring muscle so if 30 seconds is too long, shorten it to 5 or 10, just do your own thing until you're up to the 3 sets.
I tried Frankincense & Myrrh for 3 months and it didn't make a difference.
Maybe add colloidal gold to the mix.
