one thing i've finally found (weird as it sounds) that has helped with my tastes being off is cold imitation crab meat... early on in chemo i learned i was wanting more seafood (oysters, scallops, clams, etc basically shellfish) which i later realized are high in zinc...but one day at the local grocery store i found some imitation crab meat on a party tray that was marked down and it actually looked appealing to me...so i bought it and omg it tasted so good and "normal"...so its been my go to food after chemo cause it keeps the metallic taste away for up to 30 min after eating a piece so i pick at it all day...

thank you to share your experience with seafood, I may try it, I don't crave it now, I still can tolerate some fruits, like grapes and ripe pears - every day is different, I liked mashed potatoes with cottage cheese for a while-
