good evening men. i have a group question here. i,m 57 years old and i feel that is kind of young to have prostate cancer. so my question for the men is what is the age of some of you?

I was 52 when diagnosed and had surgery 1.5 years ago. Gleason 9, Group 5 then radiation and start ADT at 53.

My information is that if you are a man over 50 you will get prostate cancer. Lots of men have it but are probably unaware. That is why PSA testing is significant…

Good morning I'm 66, had my first session of proton radiation yesterday at mayo rochester 4 more to go, was diagnosed 2 years ago, psa 6.2 for the last two years. gleason score went from 6 to 7 so I decided to take care of it with proton. went back and forth on the hormone therapy part of it. they wanted me to do 4 months one shot. I decided to try it for 1 month and go from there. Good luck to you all.

Very true. It's also important to recognise that some types of prostate cancer (the kind the public is aware of) develop so slowly that people often die of old age before there's serious progression, while others are so aggressive that they can kill you within a couple of years of diagnosis unless you get immediate treatment. There's also a spectrum in-between.

60 years old, stage 4 - lymph nodes but not bones or organs. Gleason 7 (4+3). Eligarde 3 monthly injections, 240mg apalutamide daily. Radiation in Dec 2023, prostatectomy not done, current PSA 0.1 and holding steady.

I am currently 73 . I’m on my second recurrence. I started my journey at age 55 with a Prostatectomy. My PSA was 5.53. Gleason was 3 + 4= 7.

Why did you choose Apalutamide and not Darolutamide (Nubeqa).

I'm 76. First diagnosed at age 67. PSA 16, Gleason Score 8. Had surgery and radiation treatment. PSA began to rise 3 years ago and when it reached 2.9 in January of this year, I began treatment with Orgovyx.
