Good days, bad days

I fell and got a partial hip replacement the end of May 2024. I had an old poorly set knee from a fall years ago making my foot on the same leg go 10 inches out to the side. My doctor said he would fix it and he did August 2024. So now in less than 3 months I have a hip and knee replacements on the same leg. I was med free by the end of Week One both times. And had ditched the walker about the same time. I don't use a cane and have little pain. Most annoying for me had been the itching. My knew would start itching around the beginning of week 3 and to releave that I use sports cream which helps. To take care of the swelling I sleep with my leg above my heart. I know my body pretty well by now so I chose doing my PT at home without help. I do it every day starting day 3 when I returned home. My doctor released me after 2 1/2 weeks saying I was weeks ahead of schedule. But I still have good and bad days like everyone else. I had full extention when I came out of surgery so that was never a problem. And by Week 3 (which was 4 days ago) I can now bend to 105 or 110 degrees. So my problem is not the leg. It's my stomach. It is upset every day starting with Week 3 and I can't figure out why. I am doing my PT at home following a printout I left the hospital with and at 84 years old I feel like I am very blessed. But I still get kind of depressed over a grippy stomach. Any idea why that would happen?

if not on medications my next thought would be if you acquired a bug in the hospital,
that happens more than you can imagine. C-diff, e-coli are fairly commonly picked up in the hospital setting.
