I too would be cranky! Last week after a trip to the ER I was told to "see your cardiologist within 5 days" - I was offered an appointment on October 21st - Was I ever cranky. Fortunately, I held my temper and got through the red tape. I'm scheduled this week.
Now if only I could do as well for my husband - 3rd day on hold with one of his docs, trying to get a reasonable follow-up on a biopsy (as in under 2 months.)

Last week I remarked that the Emergency Department and the Urgent Care Centers have become our de facto primary health care providers.

Yes its very frustrating!! I'm ready to travel to another city if I can get referred to someone else. I work in pharmacy and I know how busy health care is, things have got to change. I don't know why they think that a moderate aneurysm of 4.4 is low priority ???
