Sore scalp and tender spots on head
I've been diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in January 2024. Doctor prescribed Letrozole and Kisqali and Zobone. For the last 2 weeks I'm experiencing a new symptom. The back of my head has a burning sensation and also tingles at times. The sensation would also move to the top of my head around crown area and sides of head. Anyone experienced something like this? Just such an annoying feeling.

I too had very sore spots on my head specially at night. The tingling continues on my neck and feet. My oncologist says it is not the letrozole because there is no study regarding this but my neurologist says that it is. The sore spots on my head have subsided but not the neuropathy. Just hope it goes away after letrozole
Hi Claudia. Just checking how you're doing? You still have tender scalp issues?
Good morning thank you for following up. In my case I was taking gabapentin por my never/back pain, but I stopped taking it because I wanted to not take anything else (medication wise) only my Al medication. Also I stopped taking Letrozole, they switch me to exemestane. I feel great so far, no issues. Stiffness in the hip here and there very little, bloadeness here and there sometimes. So believe it or not once stopped taking both medications that went away. So I summing that it was gabapentin or Letrozole that was making me feel like that. How about you? Did you find out ?
I'm still experiencing some scalp tenderness. I really hope it is just a side effect of my medication. Will have my routine scans soon.
It is good to hear your issues are resolved and you are doing well on your new medication.
