@. I didn't know that bloodwork could rule out RA. I have had extensive bloodwork and no one told me that. Appreciate your response.

Rheumatoid factor is the blood test that is positive when rheumatoid arthritis is active. The rheumatoid factor blood test was negative in my early blood tests but inflammation was elevated, so they diagnosed PMR rather than rheumatoid arthritis. I get paper copies of blood tests and discuss them with the doctor. It's helpful in understanding what is going on. Are you able to do that?
