Yes! PT knocked me down to 1x/ week now. I will be graduating soon!!
I can get to 120* on my own, and further with a strap. 2-3* extension.
Prior to the MUA, I had PT take pics of my starting #s before warm up to send to my surgeon ( different state). I was at 90* and 7* at the start of therapy! So disappointing and non-functional although PT could crank it to 0* and 120s*~ major pain even with 5 mg oxycodone on board.
I now can walk and ride my bicycle, stairs ( going down) are finally getting easier. No more anterior pain in middle!! No more oxycodone needed. Still taking Tylenol and Motrin on a schedule, but that has reduced. I still elevate at times and use my ice machine at night. My knee is stronger but my endurance is not yet where it needs to be. I have had 10,000-13,000 step days so far again!
Love this support group. A TNA is a huge undertaking. I thought I was prepared. It has been a huge physical and mentally challenging job for sure. You need to be your own advocate.
TKA. Can’t spell.
