Hiccups with esophageal cancer
My husband's tumor is at the esophageal/stomach junction. He had his first chemo and radiation treatments lat Thurs. He woke up with hiccups at 2 AM on Friday and has had them almost constantly since. It is now Sunday night. If he lays down they stop after a few mins but start again if he gets up. Has anyone else experienced this? He has radiation tomorrow and will check with the dr regarding this.

Think I also took baclofen, before my treatments, to head off my hiccups at the pass! I had a few 6 hour bouts of hiccups back in the day... NASTY! They really beat you up.
I’m 28 months into my esophageal cancer I’ve had chemo radiation And currently I’m in immunotherapy every three weeks. i’ve had the hiccups since before I was diagnosed every time I would eat something that was firm. I would hiccup until I threw up. It’s much better now I watch what I eat. i’ve had five clean CAT scans. My next one is October 7. Doctor says if I get that clean he will stop treatment.
