@bobbie4481

Since my January post, much has changed. I was finally able to meet with the only WPATH certified physician in western Michigan (a 3 hour drive each way, but well worth the effort). After pulling new labs, he made a number of recommendations, all of which my VA endocrinologist reluctantly agreed to. My April labs were getting back on track, my night sweats have stopped almost completely, breast development has improved and my mood swings have stabilized. E was up to 269, so the endocrinologist wanted me to reduce my estrogen. I told her WPATH standards can go as high as 400 without issues, based on my health profile (excellent for a 70 year old). New labs are scheduled for October, so we'll see what new numbers look like.) I'm currently on .175 patches twice weekly, 150 spiro daily, 100 progesterone daily and 5 mg Finasteride for my enlarged prostate. (Just wish I'd paid more attention in my organic chem class in undergrad school. lol)
