I am 85yrs old,got long covid 7/15/23 so week could not walk across a room. Brain fog set in, had it about 3 month was in a home until April this year. I have gotten better slowly, heart, breathing have been ok. Still very week,taste and smell comes and goes, balance still not good,but I can drive ok but must be very careful. I am not taking any meds for covid as they dont know what to give me. 10 days in Naples fl hospital ,and 10 days in chester co pa hospital, they sent we home because they didnt know what I had. Going to start rehab to gain some musel stranth , doing ok by my self, wife passed in May. I feel lucky compared to some of you. Just keep going and hope for the best that somthing new will help us all Phil Young

Hi Phil, Thanks to you and others about the dangers of COVID. Your report is an important reminder to be very cautious being exposed to situations where it is possible to get COVID. It is expecially dangers for me and others who have PMR and other illnesses that cause low immunity. I have never had COVID and I am taking measures to prevent it. I attend few events and wear a mask often. I also use a hand sanitizer. Good luck to you on your health journey, wishing you the best. John Hester
