Welcome to Mayo Connect!
I’m sorry to hear how you have suffered for so many years and with no solution in sight.
I have had different GI issues for 16 years now. There were some before, but manageable.
When local doctors couldn’t help I went to Mayo for a few years and eventually I got answers and treatment. Things are better now- not perfect.
It seems that you could benefit from a second opinion before you get worse.
Try to find a large university medical center- even Mayo if it’s possible for you.
You need fresh eyes to evaluate your current problems.
You probably get weak from loss of electrolytes with your frequent bathroom visits. Have you had some recent bloodwork to check if you have low potassium? Potassium is lost with diarrhea and will make you feel very weak.
You can not give up now, even though you want to. At a major university medical center doctors can work together to find out how to make you function better and live a more normal life.

I've thought about mayo. I'm in pa, so it's not like it's far. If no one can help me, I was thinking about maybe Pittsburgh.
