Lot of negative here on this drug. Anyone have a positive comment? I going on ORGOVYX shortly
Hopefully it will be better than the Lupron I was on 5 Years ago.

I just began orgovyx this morning (9/11), thinking of so many guys and their experiences with it. It was given me under name relugolix as well. Apparently German made. I have a bone scan this Monday (9/16). That surprised me as I thought the urologist would schedule a PSMA PET scan? These are early days. Looking soon to set up radiation treatments at Moffit, Tampa, FL. Hoping the autumn yields a cheerful Christmas! Best.

Hey Gary, Been on it 5 weeks and so far so good. It’s probably not long enough to really have affected me but it dropped my T from 609 to 5 in one month.
I don’t want to jinx myself but I took the advice of all the wonderful guys here on the board and kept up with my aerobic and weight lifting regimen to minimize the side effects.
I guess you can’t prove a negative, but I won’t take any chances and I’ll just keep doing what I’ve doing and hope for the best.
If you did Lupron this has GOT TO BE BETTER!

I was on Orgovyx for three months, and never had any of the negative side effects, other than needing to have a nap in the afternoons. Maybe I was just lucky in that regard. Thanks!

I have been on both ORGOVYX and ZYTIGA for five months now. I am 69 years old and in excellent physical condition. Compared to my friends that were on LUPRON, I’m doing outstanding. When I first started 0RGOVYX the hot flashes were bothersome for the first three weeks or so. I still have hot flashes, but for me they are nothing more than a minor annoyance now. My libido has been reduced substantially, but at least it’s not gone. I think I’ve gained 5 pounds. I take my pill each night when I get up to pee.
0RGOVYX was my choice not my oncologist’s. I saw what Lupron did to my friends that went through treatment before me and so far I think this has been a better choice for me.

Good luck on your journey!
